Description

Done! Finished! Woohoo! :boogie:

This is my little comic. It's a sort of remix/quasi-sci fi/something version of the Greek myth Orpheus in the Underworld. Mostly it's just practice for bigger (and better?) projects in the future.

I'm very very very very very happy with it however, forgive my total lack of writing skills. I've never claimed to be a writer (anyone want collaborate with me? You write, I'll draw :) )

This comic is brought to you by the wonder of frozen grapes and very little sleep.

Direct response to your comment about collaborating with an author:

Dear Emma Zealand,

I absolutely enjoy your creative outlook on art and comics, and would like to offer myself as the author of one of your future projects. I personally enjoy your writing skills, as they are quite humane and grounded in reality. That said, I would still love to help you on a future project. I’ve been published in literary magazines in the past, and would like to work with you to land publication with SLG Publishing. I am familiar with their submission requirements, and by the looks of it, they are VERY accommodating of young and talented artists. Please, let me know if you would be interested. Also, payment is royalty-based, so neither you, nor I will make any money out of making the comic until someone decides to buy a copy of the comic once it’s all done, and available for purchase in the press’s site, and other major online retailers such as Amazon.com. I am in no rush to get a new artistic project done, and this collaboration would be opened, meaning that I can write a script based on illustrations, or a story that you’ve already done. Or, I could also come up with a brand new script with original character and worlds for you to illustrate. The comic can be as short as 24 pages long (you can verify this by clicking on this link [link]). And you can check out the submission guidelines here: [link]

I’ve done a lot of the research already. They do not accept works submitted by a single person, whether that is the writer, or the illustrator. And lastly, I could take care of the submission process and send it to California in due time. Let me know what you think!

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

With all due respect,
